First things first, who are we? Branch Out Foods started out as a concept by Gabrielle & Daniel Dodd in 2013. Western Kentucky has a huge lack of options for anyone that is following a plant based, vegan or vegetarian diet. As well as people with food allergies, such as gluten, dairy, eggs, or soy.
We spent the next few years gathering resources to make this idea a reality. Testing recipes, finding a commercial kitchen, and getting together seed money. And finally in 2016 we plan to make it official!
Our Goals in 2016: We plan to start working in the kitchen to make sweet treats such as muffins, cookies, and cashew cheesecakes to be sold in Paducah KY at the end of September or early October of 2016.
After we've gotten the kinks worked out we will start creating healthy grab and go food options such as wraps, salads, and meals. We'd also like to get our treats as options at established restaurants. Eventually we'd like to establish a meal plan option.
